Refund Policy
When OTA Cloud can refund an order, and which products are non-refundable.
Last updated: September 18, 2026
1. Overview
This policy explains refunds for purchases on o-ta.com. It works together with the Terms of Service and the Distance Selling Agreement. Mandatory consumer law, if it applies to you, takes priority.
2. Money-back window (hosting)
Eligible shared, WordPress, reseller, or similar hosting plans may include a limited money-back window when that window is advertised on the product page at the time of purchase. The window starts when the service is first activated. To use it, open a ticket or email support@o-ta.com from the account that paid, before the window ends, and stop using the service.
If a refund is approved under this window, we refund the hosting fee paid for that first term, minus any add-ons that are non-refundable (domains, SSL, consumed proxy traffic, or similar).
3. VPS, dedicated, and manual products
VPS and dedicated services are provisioned to you (IP, disk, and access). After provisioning, fees for the current term are not refunded except where a statutory withdrawal right still applies or we failed to deliver the service. Requests made before provisioning starts are reviewed case by case.
4. Domains and SSL
Domain registrations, transfers, restorations, and renewals are processed with registries and are generally non-refundable once submitted. SSL certificates are non-refundable once issued.
5. Proxy and consumed resources
Proxy plans billed by traffic or time are not refunded for the portion already used. Unused prepaid traffic may be considered only if the product page stated a refund option and the account is in good standing.
6. Wallet
Wallet top-ups add account credit. They are not invoiced as a service sale and are generally non-refundable once the credit is applied, including after the credit has been used on invoices.
7. Chargebacks and abuse
Opening a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us first may result in suspension while we investigate. Services cancelled for Acceptable Use, fraud, or unpaid invoices are not eligible for refund.
8. How to request a refund
- Sign in to the client area and open a support request, or
- Email support@o-ta.com with the invoice number, service, and reason
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method when the processor allows it. Bank and crypto refunds may take longer. Service credits under the SLA are not cash refunds.
9. Cancellations
You can request cancellation of a running service from the client area. Unless a money-back or statutory withdrawal right applies, cancellation stops future renewals and does not refund the current paid term.
