Blacklist check
See whether a domain or public IP is listed on common spam block lists.
A blacklist check asks a fixed set of DNS block lists. A domain is checked on Spamhaus DBL and SURBL, then its public addresses are checked on Spamhaus ZEN, SpamCop, AbuseAt CBL, and DroneBL.
A listed address can cause mail to be refused. If a list does not answer, the row says so. That is not the same as being listed.

Which lists are checked?

What does “did not answer” mean?
That list returned an error or a block response instead of a listing. It is not counted as listed.
How do I get off a list?
Each list has its own removal page. Fix the cause first, then request removal from the list that flagged the address.
