Why datacenter when the site allows it

Throughput first. Datacenter IPs cost less per GB than residential or mobile and hold more parallel threads for bulk collection.

Lowest cost per GB

Starter pack is 10 GB for the same entry price as 5 GB residential. Scale to 1 TB when the crawl is always on.

Same connection model

Same host and ports as residential. The plan you buy selects the pool behind the login.

Sticky when you need it

Rotating on 823. Sticky on 10000–20000 for paginated jobs.

Higher thread counts

Entry plans start at 100 concurrent threads. Larger packs raise the cap.

Targeting and sessions

Filters live on the username. Ports pick rotating vs sticky.

Country

ISO code on the username, same syntax as residential.

City

Available on the login string when a metro matters.

Session

Rotate by default. Sticky ports for multi-step flows.

Typical use

Where this pool earns its price.

High-volume crawls

Public pages that do not fingerprint residential ranges. More requests per dollar.

QA and uptime checks

Hit staging or production from another ASN without a home IP.

Open APIs and feeds

When the endpoint is not bot-gated, datacenter is the cheap path.

Parallel workers

Fan out scrapers across threads. Keep sticky only for the jobs that need it.

Connect

Same gateway as every other OTA Cloud proxy. Only the pool behind the login changes.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you buy datacenter proxies.

Do I need a domain?
No. Proxy plans do not use a domain. After payment we create a login and email you when host, port, and password are in Client Area.
What host and port do I use?
pr1.o-ta.com. HTTP rotating is port 823. Sticky sessions use ports 10000–20000. HTTP, HTTPS, and SOCKS5 are supported.
Does unused traffic expire?
No. Traffic stays until you use it. A renewal adds another block of GB to the same login.
How do I pick a country?
Append the ISO code to the username, for example LOGIN__cr.us or LOGIN__cr.de. City targeting uses the same username string. You do not open a second dashboard to change location.
Rotating or sticky?
Port 823 gives a new IP on each request. Ports 10000–20000 keep the same IP for logins, carts, and paginated scrapes.
Will every site accept datacenter IPs?
No. Many consumer sites challenge hosting ranges. If you see blocks, move the same workflow to residential or mobile.
